IN HOUSE
We sandblast and laser-engrave all of our monuments, giving us complete control over quality, detail, and turnaround time. Sandblasting delivers deep, bold lettering that stands the test of time, while precision laser engraving allows for crisp artwork, fine text, and intricate designs. Because every step is handled under our roof, we can ensure consistency, customization, and careful craftsmanship on every monument—no outsourcing, no shortcuts, just clean, professional results built to last.
Questions to ask
- Do you do all engraving in-house, or is any of it outsourced?
- Do you sandblast, laser engrave, or use both? When do you choose each method?
- How do you handle fine details, portraits, or custom artwork?
- Who prepares the layout and proof, and can I review it before engraving?
- How do you correct mistakes if something goes wrong during engraving?
- Do you apply paint or lithochrome, and how long is it expected to last?
- Can I see examples of stones you’ve completed recently, not just photos?
- What is the typical turnaround time from approval to installation?
- Do you offer any workmanship or engraving guarantees?

WHY CHOOSE US
The answer is simple – because we care. From the moment you walk through the doors and are greeted, you will know and feel the difference. We do have a beautiful showroom and a state-of-the-art design room; we do provide a wide variety of stock between our two different locations; we do have excellent reviews from very happy, satisfied families; and we do perform in-house services: we sandblast and laser, we have our own art team to design for and with you; we dig and pour our own foundations; and we complete our own monument installations. However, none of these things matter without the people who make all of these parts work for you and your family. It is the authenticity of our compassionate, caring team, with experience and talent in this industry that spans over thirty years, that we are most proud of, because we put the needs of your family first. It is our privilege to assist you in honoring lives well lived.
Testimonials

I also want to acknowledge how wonderful the sales experience was. Elizabeth made everything feel seamless and stress-free. Her professionalism, warmth, and ability to guide me gently through each decision brought an incredible sense of comfort during a very emotional time.
The final design was everything I hoped for—meaningful, beautifully crafted, and completed with remarkable attention to detail. The process moved in a timely manner, and communication was always clear and considerate.
I am deeply grateful for the entire team’s kindness and dedication. Their compassion—and the exceptional support provided throughout the design process—ensured my husband’s memory was honored in the most heartfelt way. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone needing a monument created with sincerity and exceptional craftsmanship. You will not find a better business, when it comes to something so personal and meaningful. THANK YOU, CHILLICOTHE MONUMENT!

Elizabeth spent a lot of time with us and paid close attention to what we had to say. She also sent us photos of the new stone after it had been set, and the repaired stone, which we appreciated.
