WHY CHOOSE US

The answer is simple – because we care. From the moment you walk through the doors and are greeted, you will know and feel the difference. We do have a beautiful showroom and a state-of-the-art design room; we do provide a wide variety of stock between our two different locations; we do have excellent reviews from very happy, satisfied families; and we do perform in-house services: we sandblast and laser, we have our own art team to design for and with you; we dig and pour our own foundations; and we complete our own monument installations. However, none of these things matter without the people who make all of these parts work for you and your family. It is the authenticity of our compassionate, caring team, with experience and talent in this industry that spans over thirty years, that we are most proud of, because we put the needs of your family first. It is our privilege to assist you in honoring lives well lived.

Our experience with Elizabeth at Chillicothe Monument was very positive from beginning to end. I especially appreciated her excellent explanations, patience, and presence when we were working in the shop with the artist remotely. The process from beginning to end went smoothly, and she was frequently in contact giving updates on how things were progressing from beginning to end. When the monument was set in place recently, she still followed up twice to make sure we were happy with the end result. We highly recommend Chillicothe Monument and Elizabeth.

I cannot say enough positive things about Chillicothe Monument. They showed genuine care, patience, and compassion throughout the entire process. The staff took all of my ideas for my husband’s gravestone and treated each detail with thoughtful consideration.

I also want to acknowledge how wonderful the sales experience was. Elizabeth made everything feel seamless and stress-free. Her professionalism, warmth, and ability to guide me gently through each decision brought an incredible sense of comfort during a very emotional time.

The final design was everything I hoped for—meaningful, beautifully crafted, and completed with remarkable attention to detail. The process moved in a timely manner, and communication was always clear and considerate.

I am deeply grateful for the entire team’s kindness and dedication. Their compassion—and the exceptional support provided throughout the design process—ensured my husband’s memory was honored in the most heartfelt way. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone needing a monument created with sincerity and exceptional craftsmanship. You will not find a better business, when it comes to something so personal and meaningful. THANK YOU, CHILLICOTHE MONUMENT!

My grandfather passed away in an accident in 2023. When my grandma went to a monument company (another company in town-NOT this one) in May 2024, it took that company 10 months to put the monument up. Excuse after excuse why it wasn't getting set. Blaming the weather, then the township of the cemetery, etc. When they finally set it up in March 2025, they spelled my grandma's middle name wrong. After 7 months of continued excuses to fix her name, I was done. Everyday she went up to cemetery to talk to my grandpa and saw this mistake. After researching other monument companies in the area, I contacted Chillicothe Monument after seeing their near perfect reviews. They understood my frustration. It took Chillicothe Monument 2 days to complete. It was such a small fix, but the relief that Chillicothe Monument provided my family by fixing this was immense. They did an amazing job and I would recommend them in a heartbeat. THANK YOU CHILLICOTHE MONUMENT!

We had a wonderful experience with Chillicothe Monument! Elizabeth was great to work with. For my parent’s marker she was able to match it to my grandparent’s headstone and offered up designs to choose from. She and the team worked with us on the date as we were traveling from Minnesota to lay my mom’s ashes to rest. They had it installed just in time for our ceremony. Thank you for everything!!

We’re so grateful for her help and would highly recommend her to anyone in need of these services.

Designing a headstone is not easy, it's such an important part of honoring a loved one. What I expected to be a difficult and emotional process was made surprisingly smooth and comforting thanks to Chillicothe Memorial. I'm truly grateful for their support, patience, and guidance throughout. It brings me peace to know that this beautiful marker represents my dad. I will always recommend Chillicothe Monument to anyone, especially those having a difficult time bringing themselves to finally create that special monument.

Elizabeth at Chillicothe Monument was very helpful when my husband and I dropped in to choose a headstone. She took us through the showroom, helping us select a stone, then guided us through the text and design. Being able to see the layout onscreen was very helpful, as were her suggestions. She also took care of having a small repair made to the stone of a relative.

Elizabeth spent a lot of time with us and paid close attention to what we had to say. She also sent us photos of the new stone after it had been set, and the repaired stone, which we appreciated.

My experience with Chillicothe Monument has been very satisfactory. I have only positive comments concerning their services. I have had 2 occasions to go to them. Elizabeth has shown compassion and understanding and walked me through the process from step one. She kept me informed. I found she is trustworthy. And she keeps her word.
I would recommend Elizabeth to anyone. When time comes that you need a Monument go directly to Elizabeth. She can help you with this tough time in your life.

I could not have asked for better service. Elizabeth took her time with me, offered suggestions, mocked up several versions, worked with her vendors to get the perfect monument. She was very patient with me throughout the entire process. Less than 2 years ago she did the same when my brother passed. I highly recommend Chillicothe Monument. Thank you!
